Hearing Calender

In accordance with Section 79 of the Civil and Criminal Procedural Code, the Court has to establish a hearing calendar. Usually in a day, a maximum of five hearing is to be scheduled. This is done so that the Drangpon and the Bench Clerks are not overburdened with too many cases and that there is proper time management.

Individual calendars explicitly link the management of a case to a particular judge, making judges accountable to the public.
