The High Court yesterday announced
the appointment and transfer of 11 Thrimpons (Judges)
including, for the first time, two LL.B graduates.
Dasho Phub Dorji will be transferred
from Trashigang to Thimphu, Dasho Tshultrim Gyeltshen
from Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang, Dasho Phub Dorji
from Zhemgang to Bumthang, Dasho Sangay Rinzin from
Bumthang to Haa, Nima Gyeltshen from Gasa to Dagana,
Wangdi borbu from Tsirang to Zhemgang, Sonam Rinchen
from Dagana to Mongar Kuenzang tobgye from Thimphu to
Wangduephodrang. Tshering Wangchuk from the High Court
to Samdrup Jongkhar, Rinzin Penjor from the High Court
to Tsirang, and N.B. Chettri from Chukha to Gasa.
