Sixth Thrimpon Lhentshog
The Six all Bhutan Thrimpon Lhentshog (Conference) commenced from September 1, 1981. Thrimpons from all the districts in the country were present. The Honourable Home Minister Lyonpo T. Jagar was the Chief Guest.

The Chief Justice, Dasho Penjor Dorji, on welcoming the Chief Guest and all the participants explained that with the dzongkhag self-reliance programme, the Thrimpons of the districts must work hard towards maintaining Law and Order which are an integral part of progress and development in the country. It is only with harmony and peace that people can achieve the targets set by His Majesty the King.

Then Dasho Sangye Dorji was welcomed to the conference. He was appointed as a Justice of the High Court last year.

The first Lhentshog was held in 1976 to discuss various judicial problems and has since then continued to be an annual event. The Lhentshog will be in session for about three weeks.
