meeting was held at the High Court in Thimphu from
October 25 to November 5 to discuss about the various
aspects of the uniformity of Law. The meeting was
attended by all Thrimpons and some Dzongdags of different
Districts of Bhutan. On October 30 the Honourable
Judges of the High Court and the staff hosted a lunch
for the Thrimpons. His Excellency Lyonpo Pema Wangchhuk,
First Ambassador to India and Lyonpo Chogyal, Minister
for Finance attended the party. The various points
and issues that figured in the discussion have been
submitted to His Majesty the King for approval.
